Brown Family update

Here we are still waiting on our little Hannah Grace. We have been logged in a little over 18 months. But as I was telling a friend of mine last night, it WILL HAPPEN IN HIS TIME!!! I am going to keep this blog to be all about Hannah. I have another one that will keep you all updated about the boys. Check it out.

We have updated out 171-H. We have not heard from CIS regarding fingerprint appointment. Hopefully things will start to speed up a little.

My How Time Flies!!!!

While I have a minute I figured I would catch up on the past nine months. Wow it is hard to believe that nine months are behind us and we probably have 20 to go ( I hope that is not the case). The boys are back in school and so far they are loving it. Christopher is in 7th grade. This will be his first year to march, he plays one of the bass drums. Will is in 3rd grade. This morning at 6:45 he was at the door ready to go (they do not leave home until 7:15).

This picture was taken at a beach house that we stayed in on Lake Erie in Oak Harbor, Ohio. Glenn has some relatives there and we along with two of his siblings went there in June to visit. We all had a great time. While there we went to Cedar Point in Sandusky.

These next pics are of the boys at Stone Mountain in Atlanta, Ga. We went for a weekend visit to my brother's. While there we visited to New World of Coke Museum also.

LID!!! LID!!! LID!!!

Yesterday we received the news that we were logged in on November 16, 2006. It is such a relief to have this step behind us. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and the best for what 2007 holds for you. We are hoping things will speed up in Beijing and we have little Miss Hannah Grace by Christmas 2007.

DTC!!!! DTC!!!! DTC!!!!

How great it does feel to say those letters. DTC means "Dossier to China". Today, October 20, 2006 our Dossier has been sent to China. Now we are just waiting for our LID (Log in Date) with China Affairs. We are looking at a 12-14 month wait on our referral. We keep reminding ourselves IN HIS TIME.

In HIS time.......

We are waiting patiently on INS. Our HS has been there since June 26. I will be so excited to be "paper pregnant". At least with CCAA you have a slight way of keeping up with where they are in their process. This is a picture of Christopher and Will taken at the Dukesfest in Nashville during the first weekend of June. They are growing up too fast. May God Bless You!!!!!!

Our boys, Will age 7 and Christopher age 10.

Update

Glenn had to have his fingerprints for ABI/FBI redone due to clarity problems. That was six weeks ago and we are still waiting for clearance on those. Once that is done our SW will send Home Study to DHR for them to review then it is off the CIS in Atlanta. Then only God knows how long that wait will be. Right now it is very slow. I have to reminding myself that in God's time and not ours. He knows what is best and when is best for our little Hannah Grace. Today I am adding a picture of the boys. They are getting excited, but dread the wait. We all know that it will be worth it all. May God Bless You!!!!

This is Glenn and I last October when we took our boys (Christopher and Will) to see Lake Tahoe.

Getting started

We are getting started on our journey to our daughter. We have 3 home study visits behind us, with one to go. We have filed the I600A and have had fingerprints done for CIS. We are using Great Wal China Adoption. They have been wonderful to us. I will do my best to keep this updated throughout our journey. May God Bless You!!!! Angie
